EDUCATION: Helping children and youth achieve their potential

Children grow to their potential physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.


Bitterroot Ecological Awareness Resources, Inc (BEAR)
A mentoring program based on outdoor and experiential activities. The curriculum provides for after-school, weekend and multi-day summer activities as well as limited in-school programming.

Transitional Housing Program/Supporters of Abuse Free Environments (SAFE)
SAFE's transitional housing program meets the fundamental need for survivors of domestic and sexual violence to secure safe, affordable housing and receive services while working toward self-sufficiency.

Low-income and vulnerable individuals and families are able to prevent and/or address critical physical and mental-health problems.


Bitterroot Youth Home/Youth Homes
A seven-bed group home providing short-term emergency shelter and longer-term care for children 10-18. Bitterroot Youth Home provides basic care, individual counseling and group therapy.
